We feel it is so important that you not only love your photographs, but also the experience that came with them. Douglas and Rachel have been photographing weddings together since 2012 and their vision and teamwork create an incredible experience you won’t get anywhere else. Here are some fun facts about the team behind it all.
Douglas' Philosophy.
Douglas has a laid back and comfortable approach to the way he works. He is always cracking jokes, but isn’t afraid to get deep either. His unique ability to break down the awkwardness of being in front of a camera allows him to capture the true nature of anyone he photographs. From the first contact, to well past wedding day, Douglas is always trying to heighten the experience he delivers to his couples. He is a perfectionist and it shows in every detail of the D.J.S Experience.
Rachel's Philosophy.
Rachel is, without a doubt, the best work wife anyone can ask for. She is the Leia to our Luke, the Sandy to our Danny, and the peanut butter to our jelly. It just wouldn’t work without her.
Rachel is always making things look perfect and seamless behind the scenes as our studio manager, and on a wedding day she is poised and powerful, running the day with style and makes our couples feel so comfortable. It’s no wonder she gets the incredible shots she does.
